In transition, possessions become holders of memory, relationships, past homes and self. Each portrait is initiated through an interview, collaboratively drawing one’s objects from memory. These visuals are interpreted into illustrations and digital models, revealing composite silhouettes based on remembered rather than physical form. The bound prints are returned to the individual they portray. Series of bound prints on specialist paper, handmade envelopes, varying sizes. It takes the form of a single player card game, providing means of urban exploration and self-reflection with mapping exercises. It enables transcultural individuals undergoing relocation to transform from a state of passivity to active perception of the space in which they occupy at that moment, substantiated by anthropologist Tim Ingold’s ideologies. Single Player Card Game, Game Pace: One card per day for one month, 30 cards and Packaging, Hand Cut, 8.9 x 6.4 x 2 cm.
